Ok

tbis is a bust.

there is a step where you have to take the curve out of the leaf spring to increase the horizontal length.

i was short 2 inches .

there is a part that is supposed to have 2 holes and mine had 1. Good chance that if i had the two hole part this would have been a go. Will call Monday.

So with the updated install instructions in hand…started round 2.


the major difference with the new install instructions is using some wood as a spacer along with jacks to compress the leaf springs so that the red bar holes line up.

this is the deal breaker bolt that has to be lined up by playing with the jacks once you have the wood blocks lined up

there were some bolt ends and nuts in the way.

did t ha e to reverse the bolts/nuts

once i removed the nuts, the bolts pushed out of the way.

install complete on 1 side.

2.5 hours to get drivers side done.

Next is pax side.

looks like I lost 1/4” on height.

not a problem since from is 3.5 and rears are 5. So when I put the new 4” block in I’ll be almost level ( 3/4 higher in back)
