Consider yourself lucky. Ford has been building junk.

To be honest, at 500 days, you need a new dealer.

The dealer doesn't build trucks. Ford does. I ordered a fully loaded platinum F350, so I knew it would be a while. Ford is the incompetent one that can't figure out how to move my truck that has been sitting in a parking lot still in production status since 2/6 to built and shipped.

What's so special about this that you waited this long? I'd happily be driving another used truck by now.

500 hundred days... That's 2% of the average man's lifespan. . .

I currently have a truck, but I ordered a new one planning ahead for the next 8-10 years.

Then you shouldn't buy a new Super Duty because they said average life expectancy is 5 years.

So will it still be labeled a 2023 when you get it? Because that would suck to start payments on a new truck that's last year's stuff on paper.

No I had to reorder it as a 2024 last July when the 24 order banks opened.

Consider yourself lucky. It's been 795 days since I placed an order at 4% below invoice for a 2022 F-450 with Chapman Ford, It was originally a 2022 model year then rolled to 2023 model year and it then rolled to a 2024 model year. STILL WAITING for a Build Date.

Who are you trying to B.S.? You ordered an identical truck and already received it. You also had a 2022 F350 that you ordered and received. Why are you trying to get sympathy from people when you ordered multiple trucks and because you didn't receive 1 people should feel sorry for you?

I was not looking for sympathy, I was just stating a fact that Chapman Ford orders can be problematic. Other than a 2022 F-350 that took a year to get during Covid, I've not had similar issues with trucks I've ordered and purchased from local dealers.

After over 2 years since order, last month I received this email from Chapman Ford of Horsham:

-------------------
Hello!

I’m showing your order is currently unscheduled in the order bank as of this email. Just wanted to follow up to see if you were still planning on taking delivery once it arrives?

Hope to hear from you soon!

I ordered a 2022 fully loaded kr and took 6 weeks til I drove it home. Dump your dealer.
