i have a 1988 F Superduty=F450, I am working on the vehicle bushing replacements. Most parts catalogs offer F350 4x2 & 4x4 bushings. I would guess the Superduty/450 the bushings are different size. Looking for some help.
Also can the rear spring bushings be replaced without removing the spring from the truck? Thank you
Find factory Ford bushings.
They are so hard to replace that using anything other than a factory part would not be cost effective
You just about have to melt (burn the rubber) and remove it and the sleeve with a torch
Then die grind and chisel out the outer sleeve
Real difficult with the spring on the truck
Then when pressing the new bushing in the spring, it is way easier at the press with the spring off and use a good assistant
