2002-2004 swap
Happy Saturday to all
I am embarking on another Perry adventure. I have a 2002 F-350 7.3L that has 449,582 miles on the body…. And it looks like it!!!! I got a deal on a 2004 V10 same body wheelbase and color that I am going to take and do a complete body swap to upgrade the looks of this beat up 2002 I only have one “device”, an A-Frame to remove the cab of one and I will put it on a trailer while I remove the cab of the other .Just a couple of questions right now that are intriguing me. How do I support the cab while it is on the trailer and not crush the lower parts of the doors? What does everyone think would bee easier putting the engine and drive train with complete wiring harness in the 2004 frame or putting the cab of the 2004 on the 2002 frame?
If y’all want I would bee happy to send pics of the project and tell of the problems and solutions through out. In return for all the advice that you can give!!!
