Sorry, speedo reads 1 mph high. I guess I'll learn to live with it since it is fairly common. I don't think it is worth getting Forscan for the speed issue, now if something else pops up, I'll take the leap.
Ok, here it is and it drives me nuts. My 2024 speedo is off by 1 mph as compared to gps speed from Waze, Google maps, Apple maps, or speedometer apps. This truck has just over 5000 miles on it.
The odd thing is that my 2020 was the same way, I though it was tires and when I replaced tires it was the same result.
Interesting but what is the cure to make them match?
The cure is to throw the GPS out the window, and pay attention to the road.
So who says the gps is correct. Up in SE Montana there is a road named “Bay Horse creek road”…..that is what the sign says. I have yet to see a gps get it right. On GPS it is named everything from “Bowers Creek road” to “Bayers creek road” to “Bears creek road” to God only know what.
I had a neighbor that had to put a sign up in his driveway stating “Turn around dumbarse, your GPS is wrong” because lost people were driving into his yard all hours of the day or night.
Most people out here drive the two lane highways at the speed limit. There’s no need to pass anyone and no one holds anyone up that way. Nice and safe! An accurate speedometer is needed to set the cruise control at the speed limit.

And that has exactly what to do with speed calculation via a GPS?
