Grinding in reverse
Recently bought a 93 F150 4.9L with an auto transmission. Recently when I put it in reverse it sounds like the gears are grinding and gets worse while it sits in reverse and isn’t so bad while moving. Anybody had this issue before and know what the cause is?

What does your transmission do when it reverses, can you go under it and have someone else put it in reverse with pedal on brake? the transmission might be really wobbling about. Is this a 2wd?
