I have never replaced the factory shocks on my 2002 F-250.
It never seemed to bounce around or otherwise need them.
But I am sure replacement is overdue.
Any recommendations?
Thank you.
Agree with above, Bilsteins seem to be highly recommended.
Personally I've never noticed much of a difference between all the other cheap/store brands, they all are about the same if you're just looking for cheap.
It's entirely possible that you've needed new shocks for a long time and just didn't notice - those older trucks, especially with leaf springs up front, tended to ride pretty rough and rigid even with the shocks removed, so I'm not convinced they were doing a LOT back in those days.

Indeed it is likely that I've needed new shocks for a long time 😀!
