I have an 86 f250. I am in Alberta Canada going through a cold snap. Like an idiot the other day when my ignition was very stiff I tried to force it to turn and snapped the end off of the Ignition cylinder. Thankfully I have a tilt wheel so easy to pop the cylinder out and retrieve the snapped bit.
Then to pop the replacement in. Trouble is I can not get it to seat in all the way. Installing in Run/On position with pin depressed. Still stops just short of seating. Just thought I would see if I am missing something obvious before I chalk it up to potentially an issue with the part.
