Question About Changing Ignition Cylinder
I got all new door locks and ignition cylinder for my 66 F100 and I got the door locks changed out no problem but the ignition cylinder is not wanting to come out. I turn it to accessory position and then used a paper clip to push in the small hole to unlock ignition cylinder but it just will not come out 
so what am I doing wrong?

I did the one on my 65 Mustang and it poped right out but that was about 21 years ago when it did that and I am a little foggy on the steps. So lets make sure I am doing it right
1. Do you insert the paper clip into the hole of the ignition cylinder and then turn the key to the accessory position and then try to remove the ignition cylinder
Or
2. Do you turn the key to the accessory position and insert the paper clip into the hole of the ignition cylinder and then try to remove the ignition cylinder.

turn to accessory then push on pin just hard enough to move it, then continue turning key to left (counter clockwise) and it will come out in your hand. once it starts to move counterclockwise you can release pin/paperclip its that simple. for install just put key/cyl in and turn towards on and done.

With key in ignition, insert the paper clip and then rotate the lock to the Acc. position, the key assembly should come out, they can be difficult but be carefull, there's a pin on the end of the key assembly that fits into a slot in the ignition switch, the tolerance is very close and can only go in 1 way, this is why you want the key in the 'accessory' position to install. Horrible explaination but makes sense after key assembly is removed.

Sorry, you are correct, still keeping in mind the replacement assembly needs to be in same position when installed.
