OK, I'm going in the opposite direction that most go in. I have a 2023 F 350 SRW Tremor. Wife and I manage to get in and out OK but if the boards were a few inches lower it would be nicer. As it sits now they're 23 inches up from ground level.
I'd like to lower them a few inches without changing the boards completely out because I like this style. I contacted Fairway Ford and they advised that Ford does not offer a different bracket to lower these boards.
Anyone have experience with lowering Tremor boards?
I ordered 6 F150 brackets from Ebay(used) for our new 2024 F350 non Tremor. The cost was $99.00 to my house. From the pictures I've seen it looks like the running boards will be about 1" to 2" lower from the bottom of the sill.

I guess I wonder about the difference between Tremor and non Tremor brackets. I'm currently considering bolting a step to the current boards as picture below.
If you have F250 brackets now, F150 brackets will make the actual board sit 2" higher........
Actually the truck is a 350 Tremor but they're probably the same brackets as a 250 Tremor. I don't think there's 2 inches between the boards and rocker panel as it sits now.
The Go Rhino steps in the photo of post #3 are on order. I'll try to source some black bugle head allen bolts like the guy from the Tremor forum used on his install for a nice flush fit on top.
I have some aluminum flat stock I may use on the bottom side to take a little of the flex. We'll see what it looks like when they get here.
Those look pretty good! Kind of like a tractor step.
I bet the normal, non Tremor SD brackets would work with those boards to get you some drop, but those low profile boards hanging low might look odd. I like this solution.

Kind of what I was thinking. I didn't really want to drop these boards. If the photo I saw before is any indication it shouldn't be a bad look.
I just purchased a 24 F350 and have the standard steps that hang down low. I am looking to swap out to the Tremor brackets to raise them up. If your interested in swapping brackets let me know.
I know you said you're not really interested in swapping the boards out completely, but if all else fails, and you do decide that is the way to go, I went with the Aries Action Trac running boards. Retracted, they are 3" below the lip of the truck. When the other part drops down, it drops it another 8'. It really helped me and my wife over the OEM boards. I've had them on for two and a half or three years now, and they have been wonderful. It was a little work installing them, but not bad overall. Anyway, just a thought if you don't find anything for your OEM boards.
