Did the balancer delaminate? Pretty much all aftermarket are junk now unless you step up to an SFI approved unit. You can mail your old unit out to be rebuilt, I just had the one for my 4.9 rebuilt at Damper Doctor.
Good morning
I received all my parts, could anyone give me the tightening torque of the camshaft sprocket screw, and should I put some (light) joint compound on the gaskets of the distribution cover, the water pump and the plate which screws onto the water pump for safety?
THANK YOU.

I believe it’s 40-45 lb ft. I would personally use some light gasket sealer. Make sure you put anti seize on the shank of the timing cover and water pump bolts!!! It’s a real pain to cut the timing cover off of those bolts if they seize in there.
Good morning
everything is reassembled however I replaced my fan clutch for safety, with a Hayden but I find that they are slightly engaged while driving and idling, the car warms up well to M and comes back, I would like to have some feedback , if this is normal?
it works thanks
because my old one I only heard it when it was hot, whereas I hear it all the time and it's even louder when it gets hot.
It’s probably a heavy range, is that on purpose?
There is no risk ?
