I have a smart linguist friend that swears by his Tornado
Of course those go in the intake snorkel and not under the plate
Used to joke with him saying "if they worked? do you not think Ford and every other manufacturer would be using them"?
Worked on a supercharged F150 lightning the other day and was surprised to see a built in tornado device in the intake pipe

TB spacers were the logical next step(for marketing types) from carb spacers, only problem is they don't do anything useful on a naturally apiirated EFI engine. On a carbed engine the induced air swirl helps produce better fuel atomization and mixture, but the intake tract on a multi point EFI motor is dry.. there is no air/fuel mixture taking place so there is no benefit to spinning that airflow.
