Foil backed insulation behind dash area

Hey all! Does anyone have any pictures of how you worked your foil backed insulation around the firewall structure under/behind the dash? There are some features/supports that don't look like I can work around, just wondering if anyone has some pics of how they did it, if they cut around them etc. This is on a bare cab. Thanks!

If you look at 49-5980 in this link it shows how the aftermarket ABS cover is cut to fit which closely resembles the original covering.

If you're using Dynomat style butyl/foil sound deadener, it only needs 25% coverage to be 100% effective at dampening sounds. No need to cover every square inch.

Well, for better or worse, here's the every square inch approach...
(The worse is that the butyl/mastic (?) stuff is never going anywhere without a big fight, so if you want to get access to the underlying surface for any reason, beware)
To work around the features, such as humps and curves, the stuff bends pretty well with use of a good roller. I highly recommend a good roller such as this
Amazon Amazon
rather than the cheaper ones they like to sell with the material.
To work around the pedal brackets etc, I just slit it with scissors or a razor as I went. But just as often cut it short then pieced it together with smaller sections.
I assume you are trying to insulate the cab from noise and heat/cold.
I highly recommend the inside of the doors. That made a big difference for me. As well as the ceiling, floor and behind the gas tank.
Next is carpet. I installed a vinyl floor first. The fit was so bad and irreconcilable that I went to carpet. The difference in internal noise was striking. The vinyl just echoed all the noise around the cab. The carpet killed it. Then I covered the gas tank with carpet, and that was a significant bonus as well.

That's a good question (for you, not my wife), seeing how expensive this stuff is. I ordered from Summit, and have good tracking. I see that all this material is now almost exactly 50% more $$ than in Feb 2020. And it felt very expensive then.
The direct answer to your question is:
Approximately 2.66 boxes of their 36 sqft box = 95 sqft

I ordered 3 boxes over the course of the month I was installing, and I have about 1/3 box left over.
I also used their adhesive Dynaliner in .5" and .25" , all around. I forget exactly where the thicknesses landed. I used the .25" where the build-up needed to stay thin.
I additionally added the 3/8" DynaPad on the firewall under the carpet.
I remember it took awhile to figure out what Dyna-this and Dyna-that was...a bit confusing.
Guess I threw the book at it, and it made a huge difference.

Here's the list of what I ordered.
qty
3 DYC-10455 Sound Deadener, Dynamat Xtreme, 18 in. Length, 32 in. Width, .067 in. Thick, Set Of Nine
3 DYC-11103 Sound Deadener, Dynaliner Sheet, 0.500 in. Thick, 54 in. x 32 in., Self-Adhesive, Each
2 DYC-11102 Sound Deadener, Dynaliner Sheet, 0.250 in. Thick, 54 in. x 32 in., Self-Adhesive, Each
1 DYC-21100 Sound Deadener, DynaPads, 0.375 in. Thick, 32 in. x 54 in., Each
