My rotors are still original at 152,000 miles. Changed the front pads at 100,000. Not sure what you have going on there, but not typical.

This is why you should add brake caliper slide pin cleaning and regreasing to your maintenance schedule.

Thanks for the input. I can assure you, the warped rotors were not due to my driving style. If the brakes ever get close to being luke warm, I'll slowly roll forward after a full stop to keep from letting a hot pad sit on one area of the rotor. I also use the EB on a frequent basis just for grins.

I figured my pulsating brakes were due to faulty rotors, but I think I found the culprit with this stuck slider pin. I'll likely order up some new powerstop pads while I have the rotors freshly resurfaced. Hopefully this is the last of my brakes issues with this truck for a while.

dont have that many miles on my truck, but my Tauras is at 96K and original brakes/rotors and never a front end alignment.

I've never replaced a rotor (or turned) on any of my trucks with some having 225-250k miles. But would change calipers if needed. None of them ever looked thin or gouged.

Living in the salt capital of the world, Buffalo, I've replaced my rotors, calipers, pads and especially the slide pins on my 01 F350 approx. 68,000 times. Or it sure seems like it. It was 67 today and I can look out on the road and see piles of salt at the intersection.
Been using powerstop brakes for awhile and not much luck. Switched to Detroit axle and seem to be a lot better so far.
