I have gone the replica wire by the foot path any rewired a couple of projects that way. The supplies can be had from riwire.com and others for a fraction of the completed harness cost. As mentioned, a color coded diagram from classiccarwiring.com is a must.
The original wire gauges can be collected from the diagrams in the Operator's Manual and the Shop Manual.

I bought my wiring pcs from Chuck, its mostly easy, it all just plugs in,wires are one of my weaknesses and I am getting close to be finished with it, It all stock wiring, the heater is a option, I do know this.
