anyone ever try this??

drive around for some time to get ur exhuast nice and warm. hten pour water over ur cat covonverter. Htne put the pedal to the floor and u dont have a cat anymore but it looks like u do? Anyone ever try this?

i have done that with glasspacks but never heard of it with a cat.

well this is how it works with glasspacks anyway you drive around and get them as hot as possible then drench them with cold water that way when the packing expands and contracts and all that chemistry crap it breaks it up so when you drive it again itll blow out all the packing. so when it is said and done you have basicaly an empty caseing for a muffler. you could also do the same with a mild torch and ice water

when the crap from tour cat blows out doesnt it clog up your muffler

That only works if you are running straight pipes. Any reason you want to break federal law and bypass youre emissions equipment? Personally, I like having clean air.

that would not work anyway. has anybody ever seen the inside of a cat. i tried to gut one on a subaru with a some kind of 1 inch metal pipe and it would barely break. it is like chalk. that would not fall apart. trust me i even tried it on a 90 5.0 f150 with no mufflers and 2 cats. i cut the muffler off and just had it under the truck. i put water in and out and it did nothing but steamed for a while.
