OK, I will stick my two sober pennies in while the drunkards are napping. I have to agree. I recently helped a friend who was having a problem with his 6.0 Excursion. I thought the 7.3L had a complicated engine compartment...you couldn't hard SEE anything or get to anything in that 6.0 without removing two or three things. It was RIDICULOUS. It made me appreciate my 7.3L, and promise not to complain about the layout when working on it.

Try being 6ft 6in, 390lbs, and becoming a contortionist to rebuild the top end of your motor....I was grateful I owned a 7.3.
You think a 6.0 is bad, I was appalled at how little room was below the hood of a 6.4...
