Might be a stupid question...
Just got a 97 f350 7.3l, found out that both power door lock switches work, but the manual key locks don't. Both front door cylinder locks turn only one way. The driver's side will only lock with the key. The passenger side will only unlock with the key. Am I missing something obvious or do I need new cylinder locks?
There’s a decent chance the mechanisms are frozen / binding inside the door. When I had my panels off I hosed everything down with silicone lube (same stuff used on the window tracks that’s rubber / plastic safe) and they freed up a whole bunch.

I have the same issue, can they be freed up solely by spraying in thru the key slot repeatedly and wiggling the key, or do the inner panels need to come off for the full treatment?
