AC issues
I have a 97 f350 7.3 Powerstroke and am not very good with AC systems. My ac is not blowing cold at all. It’s full on Freon, has a new high pressure sensor and plug and a new plug going into the ac clutch. The clutch spins freely when off and kicks on when I bypass it so I doubt it’s the clutch. All the rest of the climate settings and ***** work. What else could there be? I’m sure I’m missing something obvious. Thanks

Is the clutch not engaging when you have the **** set to AC in the cab? Have you checked to see if you’re getting power at the harness where it plugs into the clutch with the switch set to AC in the cab?

If your sure your system is charged, I suspect your low or high pressure switches, or connections. You can check with a test light by probing where the wire connects to the switch, or even wiggling the connector on the switch. With the key in the run position and the control in the high AC position check to see if you have juice to both sides on the connector on the low side pressure switch. If so, move over to the high side pressure switch connector. The low side switch is located on the dryer, and the high side switch is behind the compressor. I one of the connector is loose, you should be able to hear the clutch engage when the circuit is completed.
