I used Fordpass when my truck was new. Then one day it just stopped working. Really don’t miss it. Didn’t see much benefit from it other than I could start my truck from my phone. With the mild winters we had last year and this year, I have know need to remotely start my vehicles.
Confirmed. FordPass sucks. I called multiple times to get the points for my SuperDuty and never received them. I also never received the points for a new Bronco we purchased either.
I had no problems getting my points when I purchased my 24 in December. The issue I have is trying to redeem them. The app is klunky and sucks at a minimum as well as the website. Total trash.

Ford's virtual presence has always been terrible in my opinion. From their various websites to the FordPass app. Might as well be back in the AOL dialup days.
I love the Ford App. I do notice that my point totals are different on my phone versus logging in on a computer. I bought my current truck 26 December 2023 and the points were awarded in about 2 weeks.
No issues with Ford Pass here either, however I rarely use it. My salesman was up front and told me it may take X time (I forgot what he said, maybe a month or two) before I got my points but they were there within a few days. Sounds like that's what the OP's gripe stemmed from was that the points didn't appear within a few days of purchasing the truck, that's on your dealer for not explaining it may take a while, not the Ford Pass app.

Incorrect. I was about a month out before they came. But they did arrive. After getting different answers from different people at FordPass and the app having incorrect hours posted for phone assistance. It was about points getting awarded, not the app. I'm on my 5th new Ford since 2017. I'm aware of how it works.
Well....Got my 30'000 points a week after driving my 24 F350 Plat Tremor HO off the lot, which is a whole lot less than you guys get south of the Canadian border. You guys get 70 or 75k, don't you?

The amount of points depends whether you buy a gas or diesel truck, or that's how it was in 22.

That's not out of the norm after reading multiple Ford Pass btching threads and as I stated my dealer told me it could be at least a month (I think they actually said 2-3 but can't remember for sure so I'll go with at least a month). I suspect your points would have eventually showed up once Ford/dealer dotted all the I's and crossed all their T's of the paperwork, however we'll never really know which is the case now.... The good news is your have them now!

Yeah, they did tell me 30 days and I pretty much knew that from purchasing in the past. But with some trucks in the past they showed up within a week. I wasn't really in that much of a rush for the points. It was just frustrating getting bounced from person to person and phone number to number once they gave me a date to expect points by. Having two people apparently clueless and a third person who understood and got me the points as soon as she hung up the phone is kind of baffling.

Unfortunately getting a hold of someone on the phone for any large company is pretty difficult any more, much less someone who knows what they're talking about, and it won't be getting better, its not just a Ford or Ford Pass thing, sure wish that was the case.
