Purchased new truck 1/22/24. A couple of weeks later I called FordPass because the new points had not been awarded and due to an email change (long story) I also had points from a previous account.
The old points were given back quickly. The person I spoke to told me to gave me a case number and told me to call back on 2/19 if I hadn't received the points from the new truck yet.
So I call back today (2/20). The person was very nice but her reply was that the person I spoke to previously was not on duty and she had no idea when that person was scheduled to work. Supposedly she will be emailed by the person I was speaking to about returning my call. So you mean that even though I have a case number apparently only one specific person in the entire organization can handle getting overdue points awarded?
Then I was given another number to call. This number answers with a Spanish greeting and then immediately hangs up. I could pick the word "Ford" out of it so I don't think I wrote down an incorrect number.
Why is everything in the cyber world concerning Ford such a PIA? They act like this is all new to them. In addition, the main phone number given in the app clearly shows the hours as 7 AM EST. Here it is 8:30 and the message still says closed, call back the next business day.
Well, one more call to the main FordPass number once they finally opened got results. The person this time around was immediately able to award the points. I hung up the phone with her, opened the app and like magic my new points were there.
After 3 phone calls, 3 different people and 2 different phone numbers I got results. The final person that I spoke to could not find the case number, yet she was able to award the points immediately anyway. I don't understand how things work (or don't work) at FordPass.
Poncho did you trade a truck in ? I had the same thing with one of mine and found out the dealer took a while to pay off my trade in. Once it was paid off I got the points 2 days later. They were both through Ford Credit.
FWIW I bouight my new Super Duty on Jan 26th. The Ford Pass ponts showed up in my account Feb 15th. One day the account was empty, tne next day it had points in it.....I didn't do anything. The salesman told me when I paid for the truck, it would take a few weeks, and it did.

I did trade a truck in but I owed no money on it. The loan for the new truck was not through Ford Credit. The previous one wasn't either.
But thanks for the reply. Maybe it'll help someone else out if they run into the issue.

I've heard that it could take up to 30 days. I've had points within a week, another time had to call because they went past the 30 day mark. You never know I guess.
I got my new one 4 days before you got yours and was still waiting.
Decided not accessorize much, as I kinda like this truck the way it is. Already bought molded mud flaps from Fairway and front door window deflectors from Amazon. Neoprene front seat covers being delivered today. I'll probably stop there.
Tonneau from the last truck is installed on this one. It came with factory spray in liner so I just threw my previous BedRug mat on top of that.
But the points will come in handy for The Works oil changes a couple of times. Sometimes I just don't feel like rotating my own tires.
But my purchasing experience was so bad I decided to not buy a Ford again for a while and rather not deal with my local Ford dealerships as much as I can. All the dealers in my area are poorly reviewed with shady practices, bait and switch sales tactics, surprise markups, sales staff who are better suited at selling persian rugs and hawking BMWs, and the only good one within reasonable drive of me that was a family run joint closed down last year. :/

I don't deal with the nearby Ford stores for sales. Not great experiences in the past. I guess they don't like customers that know a little bit about the product they're buying. And we have an Army base nearby. They'd rather take advantage of young soldiers who aren't as experienced at dealing and don't question a lot or that have a pocket full of combat pay.
I have a friend who owns several local dealerships but his Ford store is 60 miles away so that's where I go.

yeah my local Ford dealership seems to hire the greasiest slick talkers of certain backgrounds who don't know SDs come with gas motors too.
I had good exprience with the dealer in the town I previously lived in but by now it could be the same run of the mill loan pushers and lease specialists that have no idea what they are selling beyond "oh yeah F250s come with over a thousand torques!".
