I don't think that there's a power remote wire on the Sync 3 that I have in my '20 XLT, to tap and run into the Remote connection of a line output convertor and amplifier, unless there is?
If not, then I'll need to supply the current via a fuse from the inside fuse box. I'm thinking that I can tap into the #24 (IIRC) which is for an audio amplifier (which I do not have as original equipment). I'm sure that fuse is only powered when the ignition is on, but I haven't tested it yet (likely will tomorrow evening after work).
But, if there's some other 12V power source that is energized when the Sync 3 is powered up, that would be the optimal solution. Anyone that's run a Remote connection have any suggestions or advice? Many TIA!
