Wiring Schematics

My 1995 did not come with cruise control. I have retrofit the cruise control system, and as my brake master cylinder needed to be replaced I opted for the version with the threaded connection for the cruise-interrupt switch. All that is done, but I have not found any diagram that indicated where to wire the switch in to. I went to a salvage yard to look at other trucks with cruise. The two wires quickly disappear into a huge wire bundle, so getting any further that way is not impossible, but I will probably have to cut way back into that wiring bundle to figure out where these two wires go. Can anyone out there just tell me where they go?

Sometimes the factory uses the same harness to streamline the assembly process and cut costs. I assume you looked all over that area and could not find a connector either loose or tucked into the harness? I’m asking because I have seen other speed control threads where the OP sourced all the parts from a donor truck and it all plugged into their truck.

Correct. I did do that. As you probably know, there is so much "stuff" mounted above that wiring harness that to really see what is going on there will take a bit of time to remove enough of it to see it well. But, I have seen where the connection disappears into the wiring harness on other trucks and that connection does not exist on my truck, nor does any similar unused connection.

is this for a 5.0 my source for this diagram lists the engines with cruise as separate, so here is a 5.0

My engine is a 7.5 gas engine, but Thanks! This will probably help. Seeing what Ford was trying to accomplish with this switch is a help.
