Spoke again with Bill just now, I ‘m supposed to head down for a few days end of April to visit with him. We’ll do some parts hunting at various favorite places, hit up Faxon Auto Literature, eat some good food, and BS a bit. Haven’t seen him for at least two years, and it’s time. He’s still got a desk top computer, but not gotten anyone out to repair it, so will not be around here till at least that is taken care of.

Good to know he is doing Ok. I talked with him several times way back in 2006-08 when I got my truck.
Was thinking of ND the last few days. From the time I got here, he has been a big help to me and my 64. Glad to hear that he is doing well and if he were nearby, I would gladly help with his desktop computer. It's the least I could do. I think he is out west and I am in Florida. Do you know if it's a hardware or software related issue? Maybe it's something we can do to get his PC up and running again.
Always appreciated seeing his posts and glad he is doing well. The information he posts is invaluable and I hope he decides to come back eventually. Too bad some can't appreciate it!
Well, this is nearly a year later, and I am new to the forum. Right after I bought my '66 CS, I started to search the web for info and from time to time, regardless of what thing caught my interest at the moment, regardless of what I seemed to be looking for info on, chances are Bill aka NumbersDummy would be relevant and well represented with clear authority on any thread. Since I joined this forum a few weeks back, I have been wondering how and where Mr. Bill is and hoping that he was still with us. So anyone who still has contact with the Gentleman, please pass on (and I will assume I am not alone is the sentiment) many thanks and let him know that some of us youngsters (Ok, I am not so young) miss his input and hope he will get bored with whatever else he is doing and come and honour us again with his wisdom and presence.
Truth is, there are a lot of names that I find have dropped off the site. Ms_Mcihelle, IsoGrifo, Kelwar, 65CamperSpecial, to name just a few. Anyone have any updates on some of these fine folks?
@ms_michelle passed on March 3, 2022 - complications from COVID-19. I worked with her on the Ranger Registry and that's why I took up maintaining the list.
@65CamperSpecial was dealing with some health issues - I've met up with him in person dozens of times, but he has drifted away and as far as I know had to get rid of all his trucks and parts. I bought a number of things from him over the years.
I could name a whole bunch of people who never log on any longer that I also wonder about. I know of several who have passed on. COVID was tough on a lot of people.

TA455HO, I am sorry to read about those of your friends who have passed. I had suspected that some of these good people have left us for the big car park in the sky, but I do hope they are looking down and feel honoured at the legacy they left and continued impact they have.
As for NumbersDummy and 65CamperSpecial, please pass on my respect for their contributions to this forum, as I also want to thank you for picking up the torch and keeping what others might have started relevant and alive.
