Hi all . I have a 2006 6.0 that's been studded, blue spring, egr delete, new ficm with atlas 40 tune. In the last year I have had dummy plugs, stand pipes, starter, fuel pump, all injectors, batteries, ipr,icp and alternator replaced. The truck has 500000 km on it.
The truck died on me while driving but fired right back up.
Today I have a crank no start. February 6 cold at an idle From February 6 koeo February 14th koeo February 14th cranking
Clearly you have insufficient pressure in the high pressure oil system, based on today's crank no-start data.
Were all the parts OEM (and from a reliable source, not EBay, Amazon, Autozone, etc)?
Has the HPOP discharge STC fitting been replaced?
Oil filter cap an OEM one w/ an OEM filter?
The troubleshooting process is going to be essentially the same as if you hadn't replaced all of the listed parts - ie do an air test of the high pressure oil system.
Easiest way to troubleshoot this is to pull your IPR, but on your way in to pull it, inspect the wiring & connector first. Obviously fix anything you find wrong with the wiring first. If nothing found, since your IPR is out, put a meter across the IPR connections it to check resistance on the solenoid (a good solenoid should read ~5-6ohms). If it reads bad, replace with an OEM IPR from a reputable dealership. If it reads good, with the meter still attached, heat the metal body of the IPR with a hair dryer or a heat gun for 30 seconds or so to see if that resistance value changes. I just had this issue with a buddy's IPR and the same code. We found the solenoid bad on the IPR once it would warm up (was 5.9ohms cold and after ~20 seconds of heating it with a heat gun, it would fail and go to OL - open load). If that's the case with yours, same as above - replace the IPR.
You can ready more on his saga over on the org (video on confirming bad IPR is on that thread as well).
Thank you all for the feedback. It's been cold here and I haven't had the chance to get outside yet in the driveway to get at it. I will keep you posted on what I find.
