Putting back up alarm on up fitter switch
Just got my 2023 F550 last month. It has a back up alarm installed. I need it for most occasions but I would like to turn it off sometimes like backing into my drive late at night. Another guys truck has his on a switch which is upfitter switch 1. I'm trying to do it the easiest way.

Using a upfitter switch looks nice and neat, but will not be the easiest way. The upfitters are pre-wired to supply power to a device. Your backup alarm is already supplied power by the back-up light circuit. What you want to do is interrupt the alarm circuit, not supply power to it.
So easiest would be to buy a switch, mount it somewhere, and run two wires to it from the alarm. Power for the back-up light circuit will run up to the switch, and then back to the alarm, or you can switch the switch and interrupt the power to the alarm.
If you really want to use a upfitter switch, you will need a relay. The upfitter switch will supply power to the relay. You can then use the relay contacts to interrupt the back-up power to the alarm. Doable but not as simple.
