Members,
I’m looking for one of those black Mats for the bed of my truck. I’ve searched and I can’t find anything for my year.
Is there another year I can use?

I want to say I seen years ago something about a rubber mat used in horse stalls cut to fit.
I could also be wrong

I know some of the horse trailer manufacturers offer a rubber floor mat... here is a generic matt: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pr...bber-stall-mat
4ft x 6ft that would be easy enough to cut to fit if needed - only $40.
The tractor supply mats would be great if they were 6x8. guess you could buy 2 if you needed one for a long box but you would have a 2 piece mat. Which might not be too bad because those mats are about 3/4 thick and are heavy.

Agreed they do weigh up. I'd go with two 4' x 4' matts for a long box. According to the TSC page, the 4' x 6' matt is 94 lbs.......... so buying two, and then cut each of them down to 4' x 4' to cover a 4' x 8' box floor would produce each weighing 86 lbs, a bit easier to maneuver around.

Lay them with the 6 foot across the bed and cut out for the wheel tubs. That way you are covering the bed in front and back of the wheel tubs on both sides
How do the dimensions of a Slick vs 67-72 bed compare? I thought I’d read here that they weren’t that different? Concourse Parts lists mats for both long and short beds for 67-72 trucks.

On a short bed the wheel well openings on a 67 and up are about an inch bigger front and back. Total length is about an inch shorter front and back on a 67 and up. I put one in my 64. It is not perfect but it is very usable
(2) 3/4"x4'x6' stall mats cut to fit over 6 yrs ago. They will outlast me. At the time abt $35 each. The surface is durable and takes a beating. Keeps most stuff from sliding around but not everything. Downside is they are heavy (nearly 100lbs each) and they do shrink quite a bit in the cold.
