I have a 1995 F350. I have to remove and replace my entire dash cover. Not just the pad, but the whole dash. I went to a salvage yard and removed another OBS dash to install in my truck, and to get that done there were three screws that required me to basically destroy the truck to remove them. I was OK with doing that on a junk yard truck, but now I have to remove my own dash and install this one from the salvage yard and I don't want to do it the same way and destroy my own truck. So, I would like to hear from someone who has successfully done this, to find out the best route to take on this project.
Thanks,
Bill
Thanks!
I did read through it. Very helpful. I removed the skin at the salvage yard; not the whole dash. The guy in this article removed the whole dash with a comment that the way to remove the skin it to remove it after you have the dash out. I believe it!
