Yes, picked a 24 the other night, I swore I thought I seen the brake light flash in my side mirror when I took my foot off the accelerator. It was quick, didn't think much of it on the next 30 miles. Roads were wet and icy.
Pull the truck in my shop this morning, in Park, I rev'd it, on deceleration there's a quick flash.

this is the most annoying s**t ever, i cant be behind people with the flashing 3rd stop lamp

I've only heard of this as an aftermarket installation and the flashing occurs briefly when the brake pedal is pressed. I've also read that a flashing brake light is illegal.

I added a module that does it on my motorcycle but I've never seen it in the automotive world. But I guess nothing is surprising anymore.

there are various forms of them, i dont think any are from the manufacturers. I thought only aftermarket, in varying degrees of annoying. I believe they are allowed under DOT regs too as long as they are compliant.
