I have a cylinder No 6 contribution / balance code. I would assume this is the injector? Is that the driver's side bank or passenger side bank? Where is a reputable place to buy new injectors? Can I get away with just one? Any special tools needed to get the injector out once the oil manifold is off? Probably a good time to do the stand pipe and dummy plug on that side.

Most people off forum just replace a single injector, which also isn't bad most of the time because you could literally have 7 injectors that last a lot longer. What I do is really dependent on what maintenance (if any of the data is available) an engine has gotten over its life.
So, what are the symptoms in terms of drivability? How fresh has the oil been feeding the injectors? Do you use any additives in the oil? How many miles on injectors?
The truck cranks fast but always starts with a slight stumble. The power isn’t bad but I think should be more. I have a 2005 F350 with the same engine (this one is a 2003 F550) and the 350 feels considerably stronger.
I believe the injectors are original. Truck is a dump truck with only 58k miles on it. I have no record of injectors being replaced. The dealer did the head gaskets and put ARP studs in back in 2020 just before I bought it.
I’m using Rotella T6 5w40. Oil change was done back in April and less than 1000 miles on it. Oil has a quart of Archoil in it. Also have run some Archoil fuel treatment.
The engine has some vibrations at idle and sometimes while cruising. Not sure if this is the injector or something else.
