9 = 391 4V FT gas V8
U = Louisville Assembly Plant
471196 = 1964 numerical series, looks to be November 1963 production
212 = 212 inch wheelbase
J = Rangoon Red
T800 = '64-'67 T800 gas, hydraulic brakes, 43,000 lbs GVWR
181A = I do not have upholstery info for this year, but this is a conventional cab and chassis with tandem rear axles. (you knew that....)

N = Dana (Spicer) model 5652 five speed direct main transmission (this code also used for NP435 but probably not in a T800)
(Does this truck have an auxiliary transmission?)
6E = Eaton model 34M rear axles, 34,000 lbs capacity, 8.60 ratio
No front axle listed. In '64-'69 only optional axles were listed, so this would be a standard axle probably without power steering. The axles have tags or numbers cast into them.
