Originally posted by krosati PS2 is backwards compatable and cost less than the $1500 tag of a PC. I have over a 100 titles for the original PS and Now have 7 for PS2. With the PS2 I can play all 107 titles.
My PC hasn't played a single game I've loaded except "Driver" My PC is 6 years old and was top of the line in it's day.
At $40 a game plus PC upgrades, I'll stick to my Playstation consoles.
I totally agree. I bought a PS2 for like $300 and if it lasts 2-4 years I'm happy. A game is guaranteed to work and I don't have to worry if I have the latest video card or specific amount of RAM because the game was made with the PS2's specifications already in mind. I used to be a hardcore game but realized many times how frustrating it can be when I want the newest game and realize that it wont work on my system. But that's just my opinion.
PS2 all the way. I love 3rd person games like Tombraider and Siphon Filter. Playing a game with a keyboard just sucks and to have the other controls costs $.
