Hi, I have a 1995 F-150 XLT and ever since I bought the truck, it has been flashing airbag code 34. I read another thread about this but I’m really hoping for an easy fix. The cruise control does not work but the horn does, and the column is definitely beat because the shifter plastic bushings are blown out which I haven’t seen before. Occasionally it will also throw code 42, but when it does it no longer flashes code 34. I thought it was supposed to flash all codes in order from most to least important, so I don’t know why when it throws one code the other one goes away. If anyone knows if this may be an easy fix or if I should listen to the other thread, I would greatly appreciate it.
Test the cruise control buttons to see if they are working. There was a recent thread that had the resistance values for the switches. If the switches are good then I would replace the clockspring. Is the air bag sensor plugged in?

All sensors are plugged in, I haven’t tested the buttons yet but I do know they do nothing while driving, I’ve tried numerous times.
