Help decoding vin/serial number?
I have a 1974 ford f-600 that someone replaced the drivers door on and I have no warranty tag, is there any way to figure out the truck’s options/specs from the vin?ViN: F60DCT32243

Short answer: No, not much.
Longer answer:
F60 = F600 gas, 4x2
D = 330 2V HD FT gas V8
C = Ontario Truck Plant
T32243 = 1974 numerical series, November 1973 production
Your transmission and differential will have info on them. Either tags or numbers/letters cast into the case. You may also find ratio info stamped in the carrier just above the pinion.
The VIN should be stamped on the frame also.

Wheel type, two speed axle, 4 or 5 speed transmission would be things that matter imo.....
