Exclamation COIL SPRINGS

I find several coils springs , each has several spring specifications , height of 8" -14 " ( I think ) . Then each has a different rating , ranging between 100-500 lbs spring rate , and a spring rate range very close to the same spring rate for each individual spring ....... .
Which do I need for a stock 302 engine , and ok if it lowers truck a little .
What is original height & spring rate ...etc...etc...

I was gonna look in my parts catalog just been floating , & going n the wind............I ask because I know people know , they just wont respond , I do not know why.........Oh , & many times others have great new parts they have found to work better or slicker...........
Any way U DID & your KOOL
I got almost everything Fordification has for my truck ...........The site is how I got to this site
Anyway thank-u again
I finally found a spring rate of 600in/lbs , but it is a 1" drop spring so I wonder if it is higher rate to make up for the missing inch
Well it is a start........
I got some new jeep springs look almost exactly like my springs on the truck . That is why I want to know the specs of a Ford spring to compare to the Jeep spring .
I think the Jeep spring is 300in/lbs , and looks to be very close physically , so it continues..........always sumpem.........
Just realized , 1075 at pad , divide that by the coil length MAY give me the spring rate !!!!!!!!!!!!......1075 x 4 MAYB the GVW ...........
Sounds GOOD..........
Now how long is the spring.......ha............
......

69/71 F100/250 before ser. #M00,1001 ,4 X2, 6 and 8 cylinder 1500# capacity at the pad. Marked with an orange stripe.
On 1971/72 F100 after ser. #M00,001, 4X2, 302 Ford got technical. I would need to know your GVW, wheelbase, and if it has factory A/C or not. These springs could be 1290#,1415#, or 1500#. They also could be painted with different color stripes. Left and right being different colors.

JEFFAFA to the rescue !!! Yes *
Anyway I totally agree with FORD getting technical because I saw all that before I asked in my parts catalog , the different colored stripes !!! Well my stripes left about 47 years ago !!!
My cherished trucks first 4 digits are F106 . The wheel base is 114.8" - GVW is 4500lbs. I am doing this now from memory so it may be a little off but I THINK it is right . ha
I found lots of info before I made this thread but I cannot find the actual dimensions or the exact spring because of my stripe colur is gone many , many moons ago !!!
As I said I found some NOS Jeep springs for a song & they look very close to my springs installed on truck but since they are on truck I do not know the actual spring height or diameter of a coil , not whole spring diameter !
I think the JEEP springs are 300lbs per inch so it goes .........It is hard to convert per inch to weight at pad weight, so I guess if I know spring height or what color stripe I had, it would help find the the elusive answer , sorta , !!!
I do think y'all for the help ~~~ I should be outside so I must go , it is BEAUTIFUL TODAY
Also APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAYED REPLY , but say la vee' Thats French u know..............lol..............
