I just used an impact on mine. Never have had any issues.
Same here as OldMechanic57. I have done this 3 times on my truck and once on another truck. It is an electric impact gun that has been a workhorse in my tool inventory.
You can also use a large breaker bar. I have a few all the way up to 4'.
A floor jack works fairly well for something like that, if an impact isn't available. As long as the bolt isn't tighter than whatever it's bolted to is heavy. Just lay the wrench handle in the jacks cradle and lift. I usually like to do it from a safe distance. Sometimes old suspension hardware can let go violently.
