You need a lot more then ForScan to enable those features. Platinum and Limited trims come with additional modules and leveling sensors.

i just made some changes to my truck.
i can confirm that values from '22 spreadsheet for disabling door ajar chimes does work. IPC 720-01-02 xx0x xxxx
also disabling triple ding at start up does work

for enabling climate screen at bottom of sync screen: it does work, however, i could not get cooled/heated seats, nor heated steering wheel on climate bar to work.
when adding the climate functions to the screen, all the other function buttons are replaced. i did not like that so i put it back to stock.
also my truck would not remove the reverse black box.

my truck is '24 Lariat Ultimate with a 12/23 build date. current sync software is higher than rev 902.

 

I can confirm that reverse black box worked on my 2024 F450 lariat ultimate

 

maybe i am misunderstanding what the reverse black box removal does?? I was under the impression it just removed the box around the birds eye view of the truck on the right side of the screen when put in reverse? no?

 

Maybe, its not the black box in the 360 camera top down view, its the black box when your driving and using the cameras.

 

Does anyone know if the Glare free lights work, this is from the 2021 F150 forscan sheet? I makes your high beams gently brighten and dim instead on instant on and off, it’s also supposed to cut/block the light around on coming traffic so the high beam doesn’t blind them.

I updated my 24 turn signal flash today and the spreadsheet values gave me an error, so I did it using the plain English and for 7 flashes the as built data was updated to xxxx-1cxx-xx when I went back to check,

I also got the global close to work using the plain English and enabling all global lines in the BCM, DDM and PDM.

but now my reverse alarm sound in the cabin has changed to a cheaper annoying almost back up outside alarm sound. Any thoughts to why that is? Or how to change it back?

It did tell me it went into battery saver mode, I left headlight on whilst I was playing with this….. could that have caused it? I was able to write everything with no issue. Thoughts?

edit, after a few minutes sitting and restart, it now sounds the same as it did…. I guess the batter saver reverts to a cheaper “dinger”

What error did it give you in AsBuilt?

No idea why your chime tone would change.
I would restore your backup and start over to determine the cause.

chime resolved itself…. I think part of the battery saver thing.

error was a checksum and it couldn’t write it. I didn’t take a pic and don’t remember the exact wording.

 

Any edit you do in AsBuilt will generate a checksum error. Click the button to continue and ForScan will correct the checksum error for you.

Just picked up 2024 f350 platinum and am getting Error "Unable to identify the vehicle. Please contact developers". Im running the newest 2.3.58 and a vLinker for connection.

 

Good to know you can edit through plain English. I'm getting the S&B tank installed tomorrow. Already contacted ZooDad to help out but good to have the easy edit as a fallback if other methods don't work.
