The factory passenger side positive battery cable has a 6mm bolt in the exact spot you referenced, with several cables running to it. I figured if Ford did it that way it was OK to do the same on the driver side battery.
Here's mine. 6mm stainless bolt with a stainless flat washer underneath and on top. 1/0 welding cable runs from the passenger battery to an Anderson plug in the rear. 1/0 welding cable runs from the driver battery to an Anderson connector in the front.
1/0 welding cable connected with a marine-grade, tinned pure copper lug.
