Factory code is up on box in passenger footwell by fuse box on a sticker. It is hard to see and I was only able to get a picture of it and zoom in to be able to read it.
Not original owner of a 2022 F150. It was a Canadian truck originally, but did come with the manuals still shrink wrapped. However, these are in French so no use to me. I did find and downloaded an owners manual (in English), so that is fine. The manual says for me to change the keyless door entry code, I have to first enter the master code and then follow more steps where I create my own code. The manual says: What Is the Master Access Code
The master access code is a factory-set five-digit entry code. You can operate the keypad with the master access code at any time. The master access code is on the owner’s wallet card in the glove box and is available from an authorized dealer.
Well, other than the manuals being in French, nowhere in them can I find any sort of owner's wallet card. Is my only solution to go to a Ford dealer?
TIA
If its like the SuperDuty, in that footwell where the fuse boxes are, its on the backside of one of the modules. I had to move a harness to one side and use my phone to zoom in and take a photo
Yes it is on the back of the fuse box/BCM in the passenger footwell on a sticker. I had to remove the kick panel trim all together to gain access be able to see it, and it was still difficult to see without removing the fuse box.
Used to be that you put in one key, turn the truck to “on” without starting it, then turn it off and put your other key in and turn it to on again, it would tell you the code in the dash. -also works with key fobs, but you have to put them in the recovery slot or whatever it’s called.
this still works, but as I found out that code was wrong, either my truck had the BCM replaced or it was just programmed wrong from the factory.
