Master code needed to modify the keyless door entry code
Not original owner of a 2022 F150. It was a Canadian truck originally, but did come with the manuals still shrink wrapped. However, these are in French so no use to me. I did find and downloaded an owners manual (in English), so that is fine. The manual says for me to change the keyless door entry code, I have to first enter the master code and then follow more steps where I create my own code. The manual says: What Is the Master Access Code
The master access code is a factory-set five-digit entry code. You can operate the keypad with the master access code at any time. The master access code is on the owner’s wallet card in the glove box and is available from an authorized dealer.
Well, other than the manuals being in French, nowhere in them can I find any sort of owner's wallet card. Is my only solution to go to a Ford dealer?

Why wouldn't you just contact your dealer? They can fix you up with the correct code, no issues..

I will next week...was hoping there was a quick solution. But will have to wait for the weekend to be over. Also, my experience with service departments (not just Ford, but in that I generally drive Fords, my most experience has been with them) is that there is very little you can expect from them in the way of free help, or it becomes sort of like pulling hen's teeth...ESPECIALLY if I didn't buy from them, and I didn't. I've only encountered one Ford dealer that will be helpful even when there is nothing in it for them. Cynical, but that has been my experience. There is one dealer in Hayward WI that really understands customer service. When I can, I try to put off service I might need until I am next in that area to give them my business. (daughter lives there, but for me, it is around 2000 miles, so can't just drop in). I've got a second key fob coming in a few days, so I'll have to get Ford service to help get it programmed, and to see if they can get replacement keys for the tie down cleats that came with the truck, since without any keys, if I can't get a replacement key, I may have to drill out the locks as I will need them out on occasion.
The master code used to be on the BCM I believe. Not sure of current, maybe someone will chime in. I've had better luck from locksmiths ($) than dealer in past with fobs and maybe can help with tie downs if there is any near you.

I will check on locksmiths and see if any in my area. What is BCM (Body Control Module)? Thanks.

I am still trying to find a locksmith, but for the cleat tie downs, I did a google search for "S07 key for Ford tie downs" and found a bunch of sources. S07 is the number showing on the face of the lock. Apparently, Ford's numbers can be anywhere from S01 to S20. So, for $15, I should be getting two keys...hopefully they will work.
Try 57175, Any good scanner with the IMMOB function can access the system and reset the code..
I tried the code, but no joy. I'll look into the scanner. Wonder if an auto parts might have one in the "loaner" tools. Won't hurt to ask. Thanks for the help!

Hi there. Feel free to send us a DM with your vehicle's VIN and mileage. We'd be happy to look into this for you.
So, if Ford responds to you that you need to go to your dealer you can try Forscan first if you want. I can read the master code with my Forscan program. If you have a laptop then the Forscan program is free to download for non modification purposes. I paid the subscription so I could make mods and it was a lot cheaper than paying a dealer their high labor fees.

I have access to FORSCAN and can modify and I have a reader. What I don't yet have, is much experience in using it. I can follow directions, however. Can you tell me where I'd go in FORSCAN to find the master code?
