Particulate Filter and EGR cooler issues
I have a 2009 F250 6.4 that has a new Jasper 6.4 engine, turbos and injectors. Im experiencing white smoke when the exhaust filter cleaning is on. Smoke lasts for most of the whole process then no smoke after finished. Engine performance is amazing fuel MPG is around 13 after 800 mile on new engine. I had the repair shop check and run the cleaning process thru the computer for an hour to see if they can duplicate the issue. For almost 45 minutes with it running the process under excelleration with white smoke. They are saying it might be the particulate filter or the egr cooler being blocked or dirty from the old engine. Is there a test to find out what is creating the white smoke and what part(s) might be at fault??? Im not willing to pull out parts after the large expense of engine replacement. Thank you for your help
