Heavy white smoke

Heavy white smoke with a sweet smell. Does anybody know what it could be. Its a 2006 f250 6.0.

If it still has an EGR cooler installed it most likely ruptured and the engine is consuming coolant.

Pull EGR cooler and pressure test ist. Don't drive it with bad EGR cooler!!!

your right. I pulled the egr valve out yesterday and it was wet inside. No coolant in my oil thank God.

Time for an EGR cooler. The job isn't terrible, you have to pull the intake manifold and turbo to access. I did it for my first time a few months ago. Took about 6-hours. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined.

Recommend you use the Bulletproof diesel EGR cooler. I went with the standard core as I've never heard of any failures. They now offer the "H-core" which is supposed to be better but costs $20 more.

Also check your ECT-EOT split. If it's off you'll want to do the oil cooler while you're in there.
