Time for an EGR cooler. The job isn't terrible, you have to pull the intake manifold and turbo to access. I did it for my first time a few months ago. Took about 6-hours. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined.
Recommend you use the Bulletproof diesel EGR cooler. I went with the standard core as I've never heard of any failures. They now offer the "H-core" which is supposed to be better but costs $20 more.
