clutch adjustment
i have a '87 f-150 4x4 5.0 efi. 4speed manual.with hydraulic clutch.
is there any way to adjust the clutch,clutch seems fine in 1st,2nd and 3rd but in high gear seems as if it's getting weak.have no idea how old clutch is.truck has 127k on it.

The hydraulic clutch linkage is self-adjusting, and it doesn't change with gears. Anything related to what gear you're in has to be inside the transmission, because the shifter isn't connected to the pedal in any way. The master & slave cylinders are plastic, and they sometimes crack, allowing greater play than they should have. Get an assistant to work the pedal while you crawl under and inspect. (Use tire chocks & the e-brake!)
