I purchased a DCR for my 2022 f350 6.7. I'm thinking of getting it professionally installed? We are full time RVers now, so we are in the desert by Parker AZ. I.e. limited tools and resources.Would anyone know of a shop or someone competent for the job in AZ?
Charlie ( @Peixinho ) at KC Turbo (in AZ I believe) may be able to point you in the right direction for an installer. He is a big resource for us 7.3L PSD owners.
You might get in touch with Eric ( @ESwift ) at CNC Fabrication too. He is in PA and CNC is in OH, but who knows if they will have a shop in their rolodex.
Sous, thanks for taking the time. I had two iterations of Charlie's turbos on my OBS. They are great units. I thought of contacting him, but troubling someone as busy as he over someone else's product seemed a bit much. At least until I exhausted all of my options.
Peixinho, thanks for the info, much appreciated. Your turbo with the 88 housing was a game changer for a truck with a ZF5 and 3.55 gears.
Desert Don, thanks for that tip. I like the fact that there is a motel close by in case they don't get the job done in one day? I will be on my own. According to S&S its supposed to take about 5 hours. There are too many variables to rely on that.

We are always happy to help... even if its not our product. We actually help diag issues with other peoples turbos/products all the time, you won't get hate or grief from us.
I talked to Dustin (ACR) this morning. He is a very nice guy and he was willing to answer some questions. He has installed a few DCRs and other S&S products. I had talked to a couple of other places, but within a few minutes I had Dustin setup an appointment for me next week. The appointment is at 8:15, so I'm hoping I will not need to spend the night? You never know,. too many variables. There are a couple of motels and a restaurant next door.

No pic, it didn't get done. Plumbing removed, now amputate CP4.
The DCR was installed yesterday. Dustin did a very good job of it. It took about 6 hours. ~ $1000 to install CP4 and fuel filters. There was no dust in any of the intake plumbing, no rust on the fuel pressure regulator and no metallic/sparkly particles or water in the primary fuel filter. After the install, he was happy to answer and bunch of questions. Having installed a number of DCRs, works on diesels regularly and there are OBSs sitting outside, he had a volume of information and advice. That in itself is valuable. I would highly recommend Dustin (ACR Diesel).
After experiencing the install. I'm very happy I didn't try to install it in the desert. When I was younger and had my toy shed, then definitely.
Anyone interested in a low mile CP4 in good shape? OEM tubing too.
@MeTo great it worked out. A $1000 for install doesn't sound that bad not to have scrap knuckles. $3000 is cheaper than replacing the entire system not taking into account where it might go out and then paying for a tow and possible down time with a trailer behind you.
