P0500 Code - Limp Mode
I’ve had an intermittent issue with my OD light flashing, truck going into limp mode, and P0500 code. I can’t seem to track it down. VSS looks to be working. I installed the trans brand new and it has almost zero miles on it. I pulled the PSOM and didn’t see any issues with the wiring or circuit board. Speedometer and tach work fine. I have a breakout box for pin testing if I need to. I just don’t know where to go from here. I’m not a transmission specialist by any means, but this is the last thing keeping this project off the road. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Wires look good and speedometer and tach work fine.

Tested the VSS itself for resistance and it tested at 1800 ohms.
Tested VSS (+) for resistance and it was too high to measure.
Tested VSS (-) for resistance and it was also too high to measure.
I continued on to test JA2 and every test was too high to read. Does that give you any idea where the issue might be in the harness?
