I recently bought a 2021 XLT F 150. Enjoying it so far.
Astetic-wise, I notice how the truck's rear seems to sit a bit higher than the front. I would prefer the look better if the rear was a bit lower. And the "gap" from the rear wheels was closer to the body, similar to the fronts. Is there some kind of "lowering" kit or something where it would make the truck look more balanced?
In my short research, I see these "leveling kits" but they seem to bring the front higher up, where I'd prefer to drop the rear.
I have a 22 regular cab short bed. I too woulld like to just lower the rear end. Nothing else. Anxious to hear what others have to say. Would this lowering process give ford an excuse to not warranty. Do headlights need re aimed? Will this wear on the transmission or drive shaft? Who would do this lowering? My Ford dealer told me they dont do it. They had no idea where I could go and have it done. Just seems like a big hassle to me. Still want to hear what others say. Warranty would be the big deal breaker for me.
Spoke with a ford performance dealer earlier this week. Was told he offers a 3" in the front/5" in the rear lowering kit installed for 4500.00 which would void warranty. Apparently Ford has a 1 1/2" lowering kit for the rear that costs 700.00 installed and would not void any warranty. Seems like alot of money for only 1 1/2". Probably wouldnt even be able to notice 1 1/2" drop in the rear.
Jayme88...........Checked out the site you posted above. If not mistaken the only kit that might be a possibility is the 5/6" rear drop kit. I am thinking that 5" drop in the rear is too much. I would think that would give you a squatted rear end look. It would be nice if someone could put out a 3 " rear drop kit
I already resolved this situation. I went with the Ford Performance 1.5 inch shackle and block removal. I put Bilstein 2wd shocks and 2wd Struts. The struts gave me an 1.25 drop in the front. 3 inch rear. Looks good, rides great, and this is only temporary. I will be going with the Ridetech kit this summer.

Ya, I have trouble posting pics as well. Here's what I do.........In your quick reply, I click on the UPLOAD icon to the right of the smiley face. Then that brings up a screen that has a box labeled "browse your computer" . Click on that and it will bring up your pics in your folders. Choose your pic and double click on the pic. After that click the UPLOAD button. This works for me but not sure it will work for anyone else. Antimatter blue
