Keyless entry addition
I was wondering if it's at all possible to add an OEM keyless entry (not the number pad on the door) to my 1992 F250? It has electric locks and windows as it's an XLT, but over the past few years I've come to appreciate the key fobs on my 2018 F150 and previous 2001 F350. I guess what I'm asking is, are the OBS trucks that are equipped with electric locks also equipped with the ability to add an OEM keyless entry? Were the trucks & broncos or other ford cars of the 1992-97 period equipped with fobs then? If so, does anyone know if it would be plug and play using OEM parts a ford vehicle or maybe some simple wiring? I don't really care about an alarm system, however if it's easy to adapt then I'd deal with it. Thanks in advance!

Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) was an option starting in 1994 on the Bronco and F-Series trucks. I suppose it is possible to wire one in on earlier trucks, but you would be better off with an aftermarket in my opinion.

Visit a Ford dealer parts department.
They used to make RKE kits that came with Ford remotes and were factory (quality)
I had one for years but threw it away or I'd send it to you
The kits were not that expensive
