Error Code P0340 - nervous
ran out of diesel in Burlington, CO and towed to a Cenex....
filled it up with 43.33 gallons, has a SUMP.
cycled key 10 times,
it started w/o a whimper.
somewhere between Denver and Vail, CO a Check Engine light showed up.
CTS-3 shows P0340 and

I will have spare parts on Tuesday Jan 9.
the truck ran good to Price, Utah and still runs fine.
but, I am a nervous nelly that it will just quit, leaving me on the road.
the Wx is 16* at night, and 34 for a high come daylight...
at 81, I don't crawl on the ground so well anymore.
should I call the local big truck diesel shop and have them fix it?
they know the truck, they worked on it August of last year installing bad parts plus a new ByPass oil filter. ( which a lab report says the oil is cleaner than new, at 4,996 miles usage. )
I am helping my sister move from Price to my home in Oklahoma,
don't want the truck "out of service" longer than necessary.
I just don't feel good, towing a Kia Amonte behind me 1200 miles with P0340 showing.
plus the air cooler leak?
The PO 1247 may be as simple as pulling your pipes apart, cleaning oil off the boots with alcohol ( you can buy at any hardware store or paint store )
Not one of the experts here... just my thoughts on this
P1247 turbo boost low.
Any chance you drove thru rain? Just considering random codes due to water intrusion.
