Re-using factory speaker mount

You Tube can find some ways to do a replacement of speakers. Noticed my passenger side speaker was bad so went on the look for replacements. Ended up getting a set of Sony speakers at my local Best Buy. Unfortunately they didn't have the mounts and I wanted to complete them this weekend since I really didn't have anything to do so I watched a couple of videos and found it was very easy to re-use the current speakers body to act as the plastic bracket ( They sell) for the new one's. You simply cut out the cone inner and clip off the legs holding the center part of the cone. Then simply little sanding and drilling a 1/2' hold on side where they plug in for the wiring kit. Yes, you could simply re-use the original plug with some soldering work but it's just easier to plug and play. My phone pictures didn't want to load but I could find the video again if anyone needs to see it? Saved $40 bucks for a pair of plastic brackets by using the old OE speakers.

At least post a link to the video. It's hard to visualize what you did.
