Carb Swap
Look at annular nozzle blow through carburetors (I would stick with vacuum secondaries) (Holley) and a single pumper (maybe 50cc)
You need those annular nozzles and the correct regulator that will change with your boost pressure
Sounds like you have that regulator
Should run like a raped ape
Good luck
Get the Stinger PiMP computer, 80 lb injectors and bigger pump. Stick in a wide band O2 and tune to your hearts content. Tapping a keyboard is far easier than fighting a carb.
Only reason I did a carb setup when turboing was because it was 2007 and there wasn't "easy" access to all the stuff we have today.
Let's look at stuff needed for a carb swap.
1. Carb
2. Manifold
3. Distributor
4. Wiring to new distributor
5. Bigger External fuel pump
6. Wiring to control fuel pump
7. Wide band for tuning
8. Selection of jets for carb tuning
9. Selection of weights and springs for distributor tuning.
10. Boost regulated fuel pressure regulator.
11. Different linkage for pedal to carb
12. Depending on what transmission you have, Different trans or an aftermarket controller.
Stuff to stay injected.
1. Stinger ecm with or without transmission control
2. Bigger injectors
3. Bigger pump
4. Wideband o2
5. Boost referenced fuel pressure regulator.
Now things you dont "need" But should have.
Intercooler
Electric fans on intercooler.
QUALITY posi unit
The fuelie setup sounds expensive
How far are you going after the bombs fly?
One EMP burst and all the fuel will be for us carbureted folks
My advice
Buy a points distributor and learn to set dwell
I have a love hate relationship with Holley carbs and enjoy fixing them and their rivals
Injection is for daily drivers that require no think
I know a guy with a similar setup as you describe Mudsport96
Dual injectors, alcohol, twin turbos, 460 in a 1/4 mile race truck
He has been fighting the tune for a couple of years now
To each his own,
I'd just rather play with a carb than fight a tune in some cases
I fight the fuel injected 2023s and Raptor turbo lines, emissions noncompliance, things like that
